The Accused made a statutory declaration in a matter in the committal court Police v. Ayaz Khan on the 18^th December 2017 where he was charged with that as attempting to pervert the course of Justice.

Discharged on the indictment
Bail moneys ordered to be refunded forthwith.

VERDICT

22^nd November, 2017

1. MIVIRI AJ: This defendant was charged with attempting to pervert the course of Justice in that he filed a statutory declaration in the committal matter Police v. Ayaz Khan. The charge was pursuant to Section 138 of the Criminal Code.
   
2. The state filed a nollie Prosequi and I discharged the accused pursuant to that indictment and ordered that his bail money be refunded forthwith. There were no other matters outstanding against the defendant.
