VANUATU FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMISSION (AMENDMENT) ACT NO. 5 OF 2013

An Act to amend the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission Act [CAP 229].
Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-

1 Amendment
The Vanuatu Financial Services Commission Act [CAP 229] is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement
This Act commences on the day on which it is published in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE
AMENDMENTS OF THE VANUATU FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMISSION ACT [CAP 229]

1 After paragraph 16(1)(a)
Insert

“(b) such fees and charges as the Government may from time to time agree to pay it for the performance and discharge of its functions and for the collection of revenue on the Government’s behalf;”

2 Subsection 16(2A)
Repeal the subsection, substitute

“(2A) The Commission is to transfer revenue collected on behalf of the State to the Government general revenue on or before the 1st day of each month in a year.”
