An Act to amend the Road Traffic (Control) Act [CAP 29]

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-

1 Amendments

The Road Traffic (Control) Act [CAP 29] is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on 1 January 2001.

(a) Delete "6,000", substitute "6,120";

(b) Delete "8,000", substitute "8,160";

(c) Delete "9,500", substitute "9,690";

(d) Delete "10,000", substitute "10,200";

(e) Delete "13,000", substitute "13,260";

(f) Delete "17,500", substitute "17,850";

(g) Delete "19,000", substitute ’19,380";

(h) Delete "22,500", substitute "22,950";

(i) Delete "25,000", substitute "25,500";

(j) Delete "28,000", substitute "28,560";

(k) Delete "36,000", substitute "36,720";

(l) Delete "50,000", substitute "51,000";

(m) Delete "60,000", substitute "61,200".

Explanatory Note

This Bill amends the Road Traffic (Control) Act [CAP 29] so as to increase motor vehicle taxes payable under that Act.
