To repeal the Public Officers (Parliamentary Candidates) Act No.17 of 1982.

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:-

  1. REPEAL OF ACT NO.17 OF 1982

The Public Officers (Parliamentary Candidates) Act No.17 of 1982 is hereby repealed.

  1. COMMENCEMENT

This Act shall come into force on the day of its publication in the Gazette.
