LOTTERIES (AMENDMENT) ACT NO. 6 OF 1996

An Act to amend the Lotteries Act No. 9 of 1989.

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:-

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 15B OF ACT NO. 9 OF 1989

1. Section 15B of the Lotteries Act No. 9 of 1989 is amended by repealing subsection (5) and substituting the following subsection -

"(5) All funds which are remitted by the other Country, State or Territory to the Vanuatu Government pursuant to an arrangement under subsection (4) shall be paid into the Revenue Fund."

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall come into force on the 1st day of January, 1997.
