SENTENCE
- Mabiano Garae, you have pleaded guilty today to 1 count of possession of cannabis. The amount involved is 2 joints or 2 small rolls of cannabis weighing a total of 0.3 g. Clearly it was just an amount for personal use. I note that the offence was
committed at Parliament Park on 9 February 2011 during the Kymani Marley concert.
- In line with sentences imposed for other offenders at a similar level at that time, you are convicted and sentenced to 80 hours community
work. You are to report to the Court office today at 3 pm to receive the community work order.
- You have 14 days to appeal this sentence if you do not accept it.
