SENTENCE

The defendants are charged with contempt of Court contrary to section 23 of the Courts Act [CAP.122]. Both defendants pleaded not-guilty to the charge on 13th November, 2000. The matter was adjourned for trial to 16th November, 2000.

Today, Inspector Garae informs the Court that he had entered a nolle prosequi pursuant to section 29 of the Criminal Procedure Code Act [CAP.136]. The court therefore records this decision and accordingly discharges the two defendants.
