THIS is a charge against GEORGE MILLIKUM, a native of TANNA, accused of having on an unknown day in September, 1961 at VILA, Efate, in Central District No. 1, stolen 4 pairs of socks valued at 16/- the property of Mr. FUNG KUEI, a British Subject.

Mr. D. WALFORD, Commandant of British Police, appeared for the prosecution and Maitre A. de PREVILLE for the defence.

The accused pleads not guilty, and the prosecution having no evidence to offer, the case is dismissed.
