CONFIRMATION OF JUDGMENT

This twenty-second of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty five.

Whereas a judgment was delivered by the Court of First Instance, Central District N°1, on the 3rd of January 1935, sentencing KWAY NAM, a Chinese British dependant, to thirty days imprisonment and fine of 20 pounds for smuggling of opium

Now in conformity with Article 21 paragraph 11 of the Convention of 6th August 1914, the Court of First Instance having made a sound estimation of the facts of the case and a just application of the law, the Joint Court hereby confirms the aforementioned judgment dated 3rd January, 1935, of the Court of First Instance, Central District N°1.
