Public Prosecutor v Mac'Coy [1923] VUNHJC 1; Criminal 435 (26 June 1923)

JOINT COURT OF THE NEW HEBRIDES.

THE PUBLIC PROSECUTOR


versus


ALFRED MAC'COY.


This twentysixth day of June 1923,

In the matter of a charge against ALFRED MAC'COY, planter of Mongailu, Efate.

The above named ALFRED MAC'COY stands convicted before the Joint Court for that during the month of December 1922 he sold dynamite to certain natives including:

MOSES, son of MARIAMCARA, chief of MATEA.
WILLIE, of KEWOKA, NGUNA.
TAMMAM
MASERAMA.

Contrary to the provisions of Article 57 of the Convention of the 20th October 1906.

Thereupon the Joint Court sentences the said ALFRED MAC'COY for this said offence to pay a fine of 20 pounds (£20) and the costs of these proceedings.
