MAEDA


This fourteenth day of September 1917,

In the matter of a charge against MAEDA of VILA, Japanese subject under the British legal system, lodged by the British Commandant of Police,

The above-named MAEDA stands convicted before the Joint Court for that on the 31st day of August 1917 he supplied intoxicating liquors, viz. 4 glasses of wine to KALSA and other natives contrary to the provisions of article 59 of the NEW HEBRIDES Convention,

Hereupon the Joint Court sentences the said MAEDA for the said offence to pay a penalty of one pound and the costs of these proceedings.
