Public Prosecutor v Thomas [1913] VUNHJC 36; Criminal 200 (22 July 1913)

This twenty second day of July one thousand nine hundred and thirteen in the matter of a charge against Arthur Samuel Thomas and Theo Thomas of Hog Harbour having pleaded guilty stand convicted before the Joint Court for that they employed without restriction at Hog Harbour in October 1911 the natives Charlie and Soom of Maewo who had not previously served with a non native for at least 5 years contrary to the provisions of Article LV of the Convention.

THEREUPON the Joint Court sentences the said Arthur Samuel Thomas and Theo Thomas for their said offence to pay a penalty of eight shillings (8/-) and the costs of these proceedings.
