Public Prosecutor v Thomas [1913] VUNHJC 34; Criminal 198 (22 July 1913)

Case No 198.

This twenty second day of July one thousand nine hundred and thirteen in the matter of a charge against Theo Thomas of Santo of having recruited the native labourers Charlie, Toom, and Armol at Maewo on the 16th of October 1911 on board the cutter "Phyllis" without having the recruiting license provided for by Article XXXI of the New Hebrides Convention.

The Joint Court having heard the evidence for the prosecution and for the defence acquits the said Theo Thomas.

Costs at the charge of the Condominium.
