AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE PRESCRIPTION BY PARLIAMENT OF THE PRIVILEGES, IMMUNITIES AND POWERS OF PARLIAMENT AND ITS MEMBERS.

2. PRESCRIPTION OF PARLIAMENTARY PRIVILEGES, IMMUNITIES AND POWERS.
Short title and commencement
1. This Act may be cited as the Prescription of Parliamentary Privileges, Immunities and Powers Act 2007 and shall come into operation on the date of the publication of the Act in the Gazette.
Prescription of Parliamentary Privileges, Immunities and Powers
2. For the purposes of section 69 of the Constitution and until otherwise prescribed by Parliament, the privileges, immunities and powers of Parliament and its members shall be those of the Commons House of Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and its members existing as at July 7, 1978.
