Notified: 1 April 2015

I, Honourable Valdon Dowiyogo, Minister for Health and Medical Services, acting in accordance with powers vested in me by Section 19(1) of the Tobacco Control Act 2009 hereby notify the public of the following:

1. Title

This Notice may be cited as the Tobacco Control (Authorised Officer) Notice 2015.

2. Commencement

This Notice shall commence on the date on which is published in the Gazette[1].

3. Appointment of Authorised Officer

For the purposes of section 19(1) of the Tobacco Control Act 2009:

(a) Mr. Ralph Hiram is appointed as an authorised officer; and

(b) shall possess all the powers of an authorised officer for the performance of any duty given under the Act.
