2. The Shipping Fees Ordinance 1922, the Shipping Fees Amendment Ordinance 1933 and the Shipping Fees Amendment Ordinance 1937 are hereby repealed.

3. The fees and dues specified in the First Schedule in this Ordinance shall be payable in respect of all vessels arriving at the Island of Nauru:

(i) the British Phosphate Commissioners may pay; in lieu of the fees and dues specified in that Schedule, an annual compounded fee of Twenty pounds in respect of all vessels owned by or under charter to them such fee to be paid in advance;

(ii) vessels which are used exclusively for Mission purposes and are not engaged in any form of trade shall be exempt from payment of any fees and dues payable under this. section; and

(iii) harbour dues shall not be payable in respect of vessels of less than two hundred tons gross register:

4.-(1.) The fees specified in the Second Schedule in this Ordinance shall be payable in respect of the special shipping services specified in that, Schedule.

(2) Overtime fees paid in pursuance of this section in respect of overtime worked by boat's crews engaged in boarding vessels shall be credited to a special account in the Administration books styled "Boat's Crew Overtime Account" and at the end of each quarter the balance standing in that account shall be distributed among the members, of the boats crews according as to work performed.

(a) Harbour Dues.-At the rate of threepence for each 10 tons on the gross register of the vessel for any stay exceeding forty-eight hours, the payment to cover the vessel for a period of six months from date of arrival.

(b) Entrance Fee (or inward port dues) - Ten shillings for each call of the vessel.

(d) Customs Clearance-Five shillings on departure of each vessel when harbour dues are not paid.

(e) In addition to other fees prescribed in this Schedule there shall be payable the following fees in respect of overtime worked by boat’s crew’s engaged in boarding vessels:-
(i) When the vessel is boarded before 8 am and after 5 pm Mondays to Fridays and before 8 am and afternoon on Saturdays – For each man in boat’s crew.....	0	1	6

2. Issue of clearance on board a vessel (additional to other clearance fees prescribed)....	1	0	0
