MARINE ACT, 1986


MARINE MANNING OF VESSELS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1994


IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Sections 98, 99,143 and 212 of the Marine Act, 1986, I hereby make the following Regulations -


Short title


1. These Regulations may be cited as the Marine (Manning of Vessels) (Amendment) Regulations, 1994.


Object


2. These Regulations prescribe the capacities the holder of each grade of Engineering Officers Certificate of Competency may serve in on a registered vessel.


Amendments to Marine (Manning of Vessels) Regulations - Schedule 2 Part 2 (Engineering Officers)


3. Schedule 2 Part 2 of the Marine (Manning of Vessels) Regulations is revised and amended to read as follows -
