MARINE (SURVEY FEES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2006

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Sections 94(1) and 212 of the Marine Act 1986, I make these Regulations -

Citation

1.-(1) These Regulations maybe cited as the Marine (Survey Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2006.

(2) In these Regulations, the Marine (Survey Fees) Regulations 1990 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

Schedule 2 substituted

2. The Principal Regulations are amended by revoking Schedule 2 and substituting the following -

"SCHEDULE 2
(Regulation 9(1))

TONNAGE MEASUREMENT SURVEYS

Item	Vessel - tonnage as measured	fee

1.	Less than 50 gross tons	$8.03 for each ton

2.	From 50 gross tons to 99 gross tons	$401.70+$5.46 for each ton in excess of. 50 gross tons

3.	From 100 gross tons to 199 gross tons	$669.50 + $4.02 for each ton in excess of 100 gross tons

4.	From 200 gross tons to 499 gross tons	$1,138.15+$2.68 for each ton in excess of 200 gross tons

5.	From 500 gross tons to 1,000 gross tons	$1,941.55+$1.34 for each ton in excess of 500 gross tons

6.	From 1,000 gross tons to 2,000 gross tons	$2,611.05+$0.67 for each ton in excess of 1,000 gross tons

7.	2,000 gross tons or more	$3,200.55 + $0.27 for each ton in excess of 2,000 gross tons"

3. The Principal Regulations are amended by revoking Schedule 3 and substituting the following Schedule -

LOAD LINE SURVEYS

Item	Vessel tonnage	fee

1.	Less than 50 gross ton	$133.90

2.	50 gross tons or more but less than 100 gross tons	$160.68

3.	100 gross tons or more but less than 200 gross tons	$ 187.46

4.	200 gross tons or more but less than 500 gross tons	$200.85

5.	500 gross tons or more	$267.80".
