Ministerial Assignment


To: Ratu Epeli Nailatikau


IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President and Commander in Chief of the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces by the Executive Authority of Fiji Decree 2009, (Decree No.2), I hereby appoint you the Minister for Indigenous and Multi-Ethnic Affairs, and Provincial Development, with effect from the 11th day of April 2009 and assign to you the responsibility for the conduct of the following Government business and departments and for the following written laws (subject to the provisions of any other laws) -

Multi Ethnic Affairs (other than Fijian Affairs)

-Native Lands Appeals Tribunal
(b) Provincial Development
-Native Lands Commission
Auxiliary Functions of Government under
Department of Multi-Ethnic Affairs
relevant Legislation in Divisions and Districts

Responsibility for all written laws regulating the business of (a) and (b), above including in particular, the following Acts and the subsidiary legislation made thereunder
