JUDGMENT


1. Koseni Sasau and Semeti Ravai, you are charged with the following offence:


Statement of Offence


ABDUCTION: Contrary to Section 251 of the Penal Code, Cap 17.


Particulars of Offence


KOSENI SAUSAU & SEMITI RAVAI on the 17th day of October 2009 at Nausori in the Eastern Division, abducted SUKUL SURENDRA DEO with the intent to cause the said SUKUL SURENDRA DEO to be secretly and wrongfully confined.


2. By the unanimous opinions of three assessors you have been found guilty of the offence. In reviewing the evidence and directing myself on my own summing up, I concur with those opinions and also find you guilty. You are both convicted of the offence.


3. That is the judgment of the Court.
