High Court of Fiji |
In the matter of an application for admission
as a Legal Practitioner by
Christopher Thomas Pryde
Case No. HBM 30.08
At Suva, Fiji
8 July 2008
Mr Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum (the Attorney-General) with Mr S. Sharma for the Petitioner
Mr Devanesh Sharma with Mr R. Nand for the Objector (the Fiji Law Society)
ORDERS
[1] I have found the objection to be irrelevant to the inquiry as to whether the petitioner is a fit and proper person for admission.
[2] I therefore order the admission of Christopher Thomas Pryde to be a legal practitioner of the High Court of Fiji. I also order that there be no loss of seniority on the Roll. His admission is backdated to the date when he would have been admitted but for the objection [that is with effect from 22nd February 2008].
