DECISION


This employment dispute is between the Transport Workers Union (the Union) and Interclean Fiji Ltd (the Employer) concerning the termination of employment of Mr Bose Cagilevu (the Grievor).


The Dispute was referred to the Employment Tribunal on 15 September 2008 by the Permanent Secretary.
The Dispute was listed for mention on 3 October 2008. The parties sought further time for discussions to attempt to settle the Dispute. The Dispute was therefore relisted for mention on 17 October 2008.


On that day the Tribunal gave directions for the filing of written submissions and the Dispute was listed for further mention on 21 November 2008.


When the Dispute was called for mention the parties informed the Tribunal that the Dispute had been settled. A signed Terms of Settlement dated 20 November 2008 was filed on 21 November 2008.


As a result the signed Terms of Settlement dated 20 November 2008 has been endorsed as a binding decision of the Tribunal pursuant to section 210 (2) of the Employment Relations Promulgation 2008. A copy of the signed and endorsed Terms of Settlement is attached to this decision.
