DECISION


This employment dispute is between the National Union of Hospitality Catering and Tourism Industries Employees (the Union) and First Landing Resort (the Employer) concerning the suspension and deemed abandonment of employment of Mr Muni Ratnam (the Grievor).


The Dispute was referred to the Employment Tribunal by the Permanent Secretary on 23 September 2008.


The Dispute was initially listed for mention on 9 October and then again on 16 October 2008. On the second occasion the Union made an application for the Dispute to be withdrawn. The Employer indicated its consent to the application and subsequently confirmed its consent in writing on 16 October 2008.


Consequently the consent is withdrawn by consent in accordance with section 216 (6) of the Employment Relations Promulgation 2007.
