IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 41 of the Welfare Act 1989, His Excellency the Queen's Representative, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order:

ORDER

1. Title and Commencement - (1) - This Order may be cited as the Welfare (Old Age Pension) Order 2008.

(2) This Order shall come into force on the 1^st day of December 2008.

2. Rate of Old Age Pension - Pension payable pursuant to Section 41 of the Welfare Act 1989, shall be calculated as from the 1^st December 2008, at the rate of $400.00 per month, payable twice monthly for every eligible beneficiary aged 60 years and over.

3. Revocation - The Welfare (Old Age Pension) Order 2005 is hereby revoked.
