ORDER IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE QUEEN'S REPRESENTATIVE
IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

PURSUANT to clause 1 of Schedule 1 of the Law Commission Act 2007, His Excellency the Queen's Representative acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council hereby makes the following Order:

ANALYSIS

ORDER

1. Title - This Order may be cited as the Law Commission (Remuneration and Allowances) Order 2008.

2. Remuneration and allowances- (1) The annual remuneration to be paid to the members of the Law Commission shall be the amounts set out in the Schedule to this Order, payable by equal monthly instalments.

(2) There shall in addition to the remuneration prescribed by subclause (1), be paid to every member of the Commission such travelling, accommodation, incidental and other allowances as are payable to the head of a Ministry.

(3) Every member of the Commission shall be entitled to be reimbursed communications, photocopying, and similar expenses reasonably incurred by that member in the carrying out and exercise of the functions and powers of the Commission.

WARRANT OF APPOINTMENT

ACTING pursuant to section 9 of the Law Commission Act 2007 and upon the recommendation of the Attorney-General, I hereby appoint:

as a Member of the Law Commission for a term of 3 years, such term to commence on the 1^st August 2008.
