An Act to amend the Public Service Act 1969

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Public Service Amendment Act 1973 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Public Service Act 1969 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. Interpretation

Section 2 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the term "Departmental Head" and its definition and substituting the following term and definition:-

" "Departmental Head" or "Head of Department" means the administrative head of any ministry or the head of any department which is not included in any ministry:"

This Act is administered in the Public Service Commission
