An Act to amend the Crimes Act 1969

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. Short Title - This Act may be cited as the Crimes Amendment Act 1973 and shall be read together with an deemed part of the Crimes Act 1969 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. Obtaining by false pretence - Subsection (2) of Section 269 of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting after the word "stolen" and before the words "to be delivered" the words "or procures anything capable of being stolen."
