An Act to amend the Air Services Licensing Act 1984

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Cook Islands, in Session assembled and by the authority of the same as follows -

1. Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Air Services Licensing Act 1989, and shall be read with and deemed part of the Air Services Licensing Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. Renewal of Licence

Section 14 of the principal Act is amended, by repealing subsection (3), and substituting the following new subsection -

"The Minister may give to such persons as in his opinion may be affected thereby, such notice as he thinks fit of any application for the renewal of a licence, if in his opinion it is desirable in the public interest that notice of that application be given."

This Act is administered by the Department of Civil Aviation.
